Is Il Nuovo Goat free?

Yes, completely. No purchases, subscriptions or paid content: every mode, league and competition is available immediately.

Do I need to install anything?

No. It runs in the browser on computer and phone. You can add it to the home screen as an app, but you do not have to.

Do I need an account to play?

Not for solo careers: open the site and start, with three save slots on the device. An account is needed to play online with friends, sync saves to the cloud and appear on the world leaderboard.

Where are my careers saved?

In the browser’s local data, with autosave after every important step. If you clear site data or change device without signing in, saves do not follow you. With an account they stay synced.

Can I play with real club names?

The game ships with its own club names and badges — over 1600 clubs across 110 leagues, from top flights down to the amateur tiers, with domestic cups and continental competitions. If you prefer different names, you can load a community club database from the start screen: it is a file players make and share between themselves, not something the game distributes. Il Nuovo Goat is not affiliated with or sponsored by clubs, leagues, federations or players.

How long is a career?

In Classic mode a full career to retirement takes about twenty to forty minutes. Detailed is longer because the season report is richer, while Legend covers the widest narrative arc.

Is the simulation random?

There is randomness, but it is not a pure dice roll. Role, age, potential, difficulty, club strength, minutes, form and injuries shift the odds. The same conditions tend to produce coherent results, and your choices matter more than luck.

Can I play with friends?

Yes — up to ten players in one lobby, each with their own parallel career and a win criterion chosen together. Details on the play online page.

Which languages are available?

Italian, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Romanian, German and French. Change language anytime from the menu.

Can I report a problem or suggest an idea?

Yes — and it helps. The menu has a way to send suggestions and reports: the game is young and updates often, so feedback often lands in a patch within a few days.
